Time to submit your topics!

The Call for presentations is now open for IgniteLansing 2.0!  We will be accepting topics for consideration starting today (August 10th) through August 31st, at NOON.  On September 1st, we will open up the topics to the public to vote for which ones they want to hear.  More details on that soon.

As the last event, the following topics are not eligible to be selected :

  • Politics -- This includes "vote for me" and "Why (name political party here) is best".
  • Religion
  • Sales Pitches
Take a look at our last IgniteLansing's presentations to see a good sampling for what would be a great talk.  If you have any questions, feel free to email us!  More information is available on the Present tab above.

Ads on CATA buses! Go to the Facebook site. This is not a "sales pitch" so much as its a desire to stabilize and subsidise mass transit fares in the Lansing area with Advertising on the CATA buses. Name another town that does not do this! I don't mind paying taxes for an important civil service but STOP RASING MY TAXES without pursuing all revenue streams first.
